Futurology creates added value for life!

Together with the Schufa magazine “Wegbereiter” we thought about how we could make the possibilities of digitalization visible and thus create added value in life through futurology – and wrote an article about it: “The future is not coming. We are shaping it!” Here are a few basic thoughts about our future. The link to the online version of the magazine can be found below. We encounter a lot of new things. This is fascinating on the one hand, but on the other hand it arouses fears. Especially since we rarely look at the holistic picture. We look at a detail. A part of everyday life or economy that concerns us. That is per thousand compared to what is changing. Futurology makes the future visible! Futurologists show the whole picture. And they show how the individual company, the region, the city or person is networked within it. All of a sudden, connections become clear and fears of the future are transformed into future opportunities. Because yes, over 80% of our everyday life will change. However, …

WUNDERKAMMER DER ZUKUNFT – Regions and their perspectives.

The WUNDERKAMMER DER ZUKUNFT is one of the most exciting development projects for FUTURE in GERMANY. Exciting, because it is here that the development of society, the environment, visions, everyday life and work worth living and working in the Lüdenscheid Museum are collected from the past to the future and made accessible to the public. What will the city of the future look like? How relevant will cities like Lüdenscheid be in the future (note: very!!!)? What will our everyday life look like then? How do we network with the rest of the world, Germany, Europe, Asia, Africa and America? How can new centres for innovation in business, society, culture and education be created in a city like Lüdenscheid? IMPORTANT DABEI: We can change our future! It doesn’t just happen. We have the freedom to shape it. If we are aware of the new opportunities offered by digitization, every region can create a new quality of life for itself, for the people who live there and who will certainly want to live there in the …

The future interviews differently

We are not making any progress in the digital future with our current industrial thinking. We have to rethink, initiate new educational ideas, change ourselves and thus the world. Then we can have a new prospective future. And we have to develop more humour for our world and our everyday life again. Interview with Nico Gutjahr on the Webtalkshow. Who is looking for new ideas for the future: anfragen@maxthinius.de Oder via SprachBox +49 30 6130 90 41 Max Thinius is also known through the famous London Speaker Bureau

With Deutsche Bahn into the future

I don’t mind admitting it: I take the train. A lot. I’d like that. Right now, for example: just before Hannover, with a wonderful view of an avenue between fields. I can think well. About the future, about our life 4.0. And again and again I notice how big the difference between fiction and truth is in this topic. What is important: we need to talk about the future. And the possibilities that lie ahead. The opportunities. The prospects. These are far more than the risks. Yet they dominate the discussion. There is a great variety of positive possibilities: in everyday life, health, ageing, economy, justice – but we can only make use of all these great opportunities if we deal with them. Otherwise others will do so. And they serve us ready-made solutions. Whether they suit us then or not. So it’s better to think for yourself and look positively into the future – and do so. Just do it. I have not only thought a few short inspirations “in” the railway, but also …

Bestselling Book

Max Thinius – Futurologist, bestselling author, moderator, is considered one of Europe’s leading futurologists with a focus on society, sustainability, business and trade. Why it was important to me to write the new book by Friedrich & Weik! We need a positive view of the future – urgently! You know what? It bothers me if we discuss all topics in the present only negatively today. Where have our positive goals gone? When I was growing up, we had goals like: to revolutionize society in a positive way, to reduce the East-West tensions, to bring about reunification, social equality … Today we focus our attention mainly on crises. There is the refugee crisis, there is the climate crisis, there is the economic crisis, there is the social crisis, the populist crisis. It’s not that none of this is there, but the focus is not on positive solutions, but on the problems. So why don’t we talk about a social development and promotion programme to develop new perspectives (instead of refugee crisis), why not promote sustainable social …

Feared of digital money?

Most people in Germany love cash. 88%, to be exact, prefer to pay cash rather than by card. Only from amounts of 50€ upwards does the cashless willingness to pay increase. But will we still be able to pay with cash in the future? Or will we even need a digital currency (colloquially called crypto currency)? Sweden has set itself the target of no longer accepting cash from the 2030s onwards. Digital money is not yet that, just the cashless form of today’s currency. Real digital money works completely differently. And here most people are still afraid today. At least worry or incomprehension. Digital currency could offer new perspectives for fair global coexistence. Incidentally, it would not even have to be traceable, which is the biggest concern of cash fans. The other way round: CAN there even be a future for the economy and society without digital money? In the interview with the Wirtschaftswerkstatt you will find a few thoughts that shed light on the various perspectives and opportunities. Wer neue Ideen für die Zukunft …
